Second Tournament of the year on Chickamauga was tough for most but Steve Rogers and Charlie Nix didn't seem to mind the conditions, they took first place with 18.25 lbs. Chalie Williams had Big Fish with 5.70lbs.
Harrison tournament year started on Nickjack Lake. Conditions were a bit difficult, with early morning cold and winds that would not quit, 10 to 25mph. But Gene Cote & Byron Simpson were able to scrape up 4 fish that weighed 19lbs 10 oz. to win the tournament and also had big fish at 6lbs 5 oz.
Check out Federation results above under news.
The classic results are in. The winners were Doug M & Carl V with 14.70lbs, 2nd was Justice W & Curtis L with 13.60lbs, and Todd H & Jon C with 9.15lbs. Carl V had big fish weighing in at 5.65lbs.
The last tournament for the year is in the books. After the first major cold front pushed through we arrived at lake Loudon to temperatures in the 40's and the wind a blowing. It stayed that way most of the day. Fishing was tough to put it mildly. Gene Cote with the help of Curtis Lee managed to win the tournamnet with 7+ pounds, with Big Fish, It was so tough that their weight was more than all the boats in the tournament combined.
